Accommodations

We offer our visitors several accommodation options, all in the same jungle clearing.

• ·We have two traditional benabs

  • Each benab has two rooms, and each room has two beds that can be kept separate or pushed together. All beds are fitted with comfortable mattresses and mosquito nets. The benabs have shared facilities with flush toilets, showers, and sinks.

  • Each room has an outlet for charging devices and lights which is solar system powered.

• We also have six self-contained cabins.

  • Each cabin has two large single beds and an en-suite bathroom sink, flush toilet, and shower overlooking the forest. As with the benabs, beds are fitted with comfortable mattresses and mosquito nets.

• In addition we offer the option to sling up your hammock at the lodge..

Dining

In one of our larger benabs we serve a variety of traditional dishes, fresh fruits picked in the village and freshly made fruit juices depending on what is in season. Drinks are also available at "The Laughing Arapaima" bar where you can purchase some of our traditional crafts too. Main meals usually include fish from the river, chicken from the village or local Rupununi beef. If you have any specific dietary requirements, please let us know in advance so that we can cater to your needs. Meals are served at the Eco Lodge or in the field, depending on where our adventures take us. Breakfast is usually served at 6am, dinner at 12pm and supper at 7pm.

We also have a selection of wildlife species identification books to browse through in this main dining area.

Power

All Benabs and cabins have power outlets with USA compatible sockets. The lodge is entirely solar powered. At times energy can be limited so we ask guests to refrain from using hair dryers, curling irons, or larger devices. Help us safe energy by turning off the light when not use. Please keep in mind, from time to time, power may not be available 24 hours a day.

Wi-Fi is available should you need to access your emails or WhatsApp messages; however, it is very limited. We ask that you refrain from downloads or sending large files due to the speed of our facility. Wi-Fi password can be obtained from the office.
